Mintel acquires market intelligence firm Access Asia
Access Asia produces reports about companies and the sectors they operate in, and its full portfolio of research is now available through Mintel.
Peter Haigh, Mintel CEO, said: “This represents an important step for Mintel as we move deeper into the fastest moving economy in the world. The process involved us sourcing worldwide experts to find a company and analyst team who really understood the Chinese market. With over 20 years of the experience in the Chinese marketplace, Matthew Crabbe and Paul French [Access Asia’s founding directors] exceeded our expectations of the depth of knowledge which Mintel will now be able to offer clients.”
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
