Prati joins the company from Weber Shandwick, where she was strategy director, and has a background in financial services, technology, industrial, healthcare and consumer packaged goods.

Opinium announced its plans to expand to the US last year and has since announced its intention to open an office in Brussels. The New York office has opened in time for the company to conduct polling for 2020 presidential election in November.

Josh Glendinning, associate director at the company, has also relocated from London to the New York office.

James Endersby, chief executive, Opinium said: “We’re looking forward to supporting our existing clients here, as well as offering our services to new businesses and sectors. We’ve got a top team of experts in place in New York, and well over ten years’ experience executing global insights campaigns.”
