Savanta drops ComRes, MSI, YouthSight and MindSpark brand names
The four businesses will now be part of Savanta’s core offering rather than operating under individual brands. According to the company, combining its offer under one brand will allow “faster, easier, and more effective decision making” for clients.
Savanta was formed in February 2019 when Next 15-owned data and research agencies Morar HPI, Viga, Charterhouse and Circle merged. Later that month, Savanta bought the research division of Wealth-X.
Savanta acquired research consultancy ComRes later in 2019 and Savanta ComRes has been the reputation, public policy and communications arm of the company within the UK since.
The Savanta ComRes office in Westminster is now closed, with the company’s London office based in Great Portland Street.
In 2021, the company bought MSI in the Americas and YouthSight in the UK. Earlier this year, it acquired Paris-headquartered MindSpark, with founder and chief executive Nikki Lavoie joining Savanta as executive vice-president of global experience strategy.
Savanta officially launched its youth practice, formerly YouthSight, last month.
Roger Perowne, global chief executive, Savanta (pictured), said: “The world has seen a fundamental shift in the last decade – we’re inundated with information and face overwhelming complexity. The most successful businesses decode this nuanced environment and make fast, nimble, impactful decisions. This is exactly what we wanted to do for our clients; provide a single, unified Savanta.”
